Object of Black Jack Gambling
Black Jack gambling is now online, and easily available to fit in your
plans for fun and excitement no matter where in the world you are.
The object of black jack is that you want to get close to or get 21
points without going over that limit. If you are close to the number
21 in points and the other players, or the dealer is behind you in points,
then you win. If the other players or the dealer has more points in their
cards than you without going over 21 then they win.
There are several terms often used when you are gambling in the game
of black jack. One such term often used is the word ‘bust’ or ‘busting’.
A bust is ‘when’ you get more than 21 points in the cards
in your hand. Going over 21 is a bust, meaning your lose regardless if
the dealer gets 21 or if another player ‘gets’ 21 points
in their hand.
A player that is playing against the dealer, and other players, or
a player that is playing just against the dealer will lose if they bust,
and the dealer busts.
What cards count in black jack?
All the cards dealt are going to be worth some range of points in the
game of black jack. Every card from the two through the Ace has a value.
To add up the value of your cards, you then have a total number of points
that you count towards obtaining your valuable 21 numbers for winning
the hand.
What are the cards worth? The number cards, two through ten are worth
the face value of their card. The Ace can swing as an eleven or a one,
depending on what you are calling it. The picture cards, such as the
jack, queen or the king all count as ten points each every time they
are dealt.
For example, if you have a jack, a king, and a two, you went bust,
because your total points are 22.
If you have an ace, and a jack, and a two, you can use your ace card
as a one so you have just 13.
The game continues until someone reaches 21 or busts, and the same
number of chances are given to every player to get a card for more points
or to stand on the number that they have in their hand already. |
